Training Administrator and Team Oriented Problem Solving Coordinator:
Developed, coordinated, facilitated, and taught Applied Problem Solving Program
(G8D) and other courses to MascoTech employees at four plants in the Traverse
City Region. This was later expanded to include four plants in the Central
Region in southeast Michigan. Worked extensively with QFD (Quality Function
Deployment) and QOS (Quality Operating System) programs. Provided support on
team projects with a primary emphasis on cost reductions in business processes.
Established and Championed the Main 8D Problem Solving Steering Committee and coordinated committees at the plant level.
Developed and maintained a computerized system for tracking problem resolutions.
Wrote and received government grants for training and health programs.
