Cape Coral, FL – September
16, 2008: Unlimited Priorities Corporation, a company
specializing in support for organizations chiefly within the information
industry, has announced the availability of in-depth training programs in Six
Sigma and Applied Problem Solving Techniques. These courses are implemented
under the supervision of George Woodley, an American Society for Quality
Certified Master Black Belt.
Mr. Woodley’s team provides training and facilitation services, primarily in the
fields of Six Sigma and Problem Solving , in quality development to major
corporations and professional associations technical courses in which Mr.
Woodley is certified include Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Reliability,
Process Control Methods and Design of Experiment.
Six Sigma
Six Sigma is a disciplined, data-driven approach and methodology for eliminating
defects (driving towards six standard deviations between the mean and the
nearest specification limit) in any process -- from manufacturing to
transactional and from product to service. The fundamental objective of Six
Sigma methodology is the implementation of a measurement-based strategy focusing
on process improvement and variation reduction through the application of Six
Sigma improvement projects.
Applied Problem Solving Techniques
The Applied Problem Solving Techniques program begins by establishing a team and
detailing its membership, roles and operating procedures. Then the
internal/external customer problem is identified in quantifiable terms. An
interim containment action protecting the customer from the identified problem
is developed, along with an action plan. The root cause of the problem is
defined using comparative analysis and identifying and testing theories.
Choosing and verifying corrective actions are examined and implemented, and
permanent corrective actions are validated. A system of improvements to prevent
recurrence of the problem is established, and a review of theory of recognition
and how to complete unfinished team business concludes the training process.
Mr. Woodley has conducted Black Belt and Master Black Belt training courses for
organizations such as Ford, Biomet, Motorola, Capital One, Blue Cross/Blue
Shield and the American Red Cross, along with several branches of the U.S. Armed
Forces. Assessing the Applied Problem Solving Techniques program presented at
Emerson Electric, Duke Snider, Division Quality Manager, said:” The training
that our people received in problem solving techniques has enabled us to view
problems that arise in a different light. Our responses and actions in future
situations definitely will be more specific and efficient.”
