Provide advisory and strategic planning services to media and entertainment companies seeking to identify and create new revenue opportunities in digital media. 1998 - 2001

 

Director, Alliances – Southeastern US and Latin America

Launched Exodus alliance program in southeastern region of USA and Latin America. Exodus became the leading web hosting and managed services provider from 1998 to 2002. Responsible for identifying and establishing alliance partners for lead sharing and marketing outreach for web hosting services, including complex systems for e-commerce, content distribution, data warehousing, on-demand storage, voice-over-IP, IP security, and managed network services.

§       Closed deals with leading technology partners, including Compaq, Cisco, Sun, EMC, Microsoft, brokering their products and services as a value-add to Exodus hosting services.

§       Facilitated joint sales and marketing presentations, training, and lead exchanges with alliance partners. Regular presenter at industry conferences.

§       Attained 300+% quota objectives in FY2000 (total regional revenues of $70 million), 250% in FY1999, 150% in FY1998, consistently accounting for 60% of regional revenues.
