Unlimited Priorities and NFAIS Collaborate to Grow Membership

Cape Coral, FL (May 9, 2010) – Unlimited Priorities©, a company specializing in support for organizations within the information industry, and NFAIS™, the premier membership association for organizations that create, organize and facilitate access to authoritative information, have announced a joint effort to grow NFAIS membership.

NFAIS will utilize the diverse talents and approaches provided by Unlimited Priorities in a program to attract new members, retain existing members and also promote communication across the global information community by encouraging participation in NFAIS discussion forums and meetings, and ultimately growing the NFAIS community. Iris Hanney, President of Unlimited Priorities is quoted as saying: “NFAIS has been a consistent part of Unlimited Priorities’ awareness of critical activities and growth in the information space. I maintain a strong network and learning curve with the help of NFAIS members, meetings and other activities. It is a pleasure to continue to help foster even greater participation and ultimately NFAIS’ growth.” Bonnie Lawlor, NFAIS Executive Director is “delighted to have Unlimited Priorities help recruit more members so that we remain on the cutting edge of industry technology and trends – the ‘go-to’ association for knowledge, networking, and partnering.”

Recently recruited new NFAIS members include IFIS Publishing, the producers of FSTA – Food Science and Technology Abstracts® database, as well as Intellidimension, a software publishing company supporting the vision of a Semantic Web in which information is easily shared and re-purposed, and where a new generation of technologies offer increased information automation by harnessing the power of networked, intelligent data.

Chris Pooley, Intellidimension’s CEO, discussed the decision to participate in NFAIS: “NFAIS provides a great forum for publishers, librarians and technology providers to discuss user acceptance of current technologies and to gain ideas of what future user requirements might be. In particular, the NFAIS Annual Conference, with its high quality speakers and strategic focus, provides a wonderful opportunity to discuss and expand in these areas. Unlimited Priorities made joining painless and immediately helped us get exposure to our industry colleagues.”
